About the 5K To Fight HistioThe 5K To Fight Histio began in New York City in 2013, after Liam's Lighthouse Foundation and its supporters wanted to expand their outreach and awareness. The race has taken place every year since then, often exceeding 500 registrants prior to race day!
This 5K helps families from around the world gather together for a cause they hold close to their hearts and raise much needed funds for Histiocytosis at leading researching hospitals in the US. Join us and REGISTER today! |

Join Us!Our time in NYC has been fun, but it's time to move West and leave our mark! Histio Family...Join us in Colorado Springs, CO. Home of Pike's Peak America's Mountain, Garden of the Gods Park, Olympic City USA, and the United States Air Force Academy. Together, we will run/walk to raise funds for ground-breaking research, to increase awareness of a disease that all too often goes misdiagnosed and provide support to each other as we fight Histiocytosis. What started over 10 years ago with under 200 participants, has grown larger and faster than any of us could have imagined. Every step taken and every dollar raised brings us closer to the ultimate finish line...A CURE!
