RULES & TIPS

Please remember to eat a good breakfast and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate before the 5K even if you plan to walk. In 2013 it was 98* with a heat index of 110!
Please wear appropriate clothing/footwear to get you through the race.
Bring your Driver’s License/State ID. You will not be allowed to pick up your bib/wristband without it!

Neither Liam's Lighthouse Foundation nor Cheyenne Mountain State Park are responsible for lost or stolen items. This is a public area and unfortunately people will steal if you leave your items unattended.

All participants acknowledge that participation in the 5kToFightHistio contains inherent risks and dangers. All participants must carefully read and sign the WAIVER during the registration process or before the start of the event.

In the case of lightning or other “severe” weather, the event will either be delayed until the weather clears or will be cancelled all together.

In such situations, there will be No Refunds of entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee. Monies collected have already been used to develop and produce the event.

If such circumstance arises, any decision made to go forth with the event will be contingent on the overall event and course safety; and will be made collectively with local police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate. We promise to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event.
